Dermatologists expertise is in the early detection and treatment of skin cancer, and in the accurate diagnosis and optimal management of all diseases of the skin. On an average day, Dermatologists may find ten skin cancers which may have otherwise gone undiagnosed.

Skin cancer surgery, melanoma surveillance total body photography and skin cancer treatment with creams (daylight Photodynamic therapy, Effudix & Aldara) are all performed at our facility.

Skin Cancer

Around 2/3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer or melanoma in their lifetime. Our experienced dermatologists diagnose and treat 10-20 skin cancers a day, which can be successfully treated if detected early.  


Acne, or, acne vulgaris, is a skin condition characterised by red pimples and often blackheads on the face, neck, back and chest. 


Skin rashes can occur from a variety of factors, including genetics, allergy, irritation,  immune system disorders and medications. 


Psoriasis is a common skin condition that speeds up the life cycle of skin cells. It causes cells to build up rapidly on the surface of the skin. The commonest type of psoriasis causes red, scaly patches on the skin.

Hair Disorders

Most hair disorders aren’t serious, but they are often considered major cosmetic issues that require treatment. Androgenetic alopecia is the most common form of hair loss, although there are a number of other hair conditions that can affect the scalp and other parts of the body.

Paediatric Dermatology

A pediatric dermatologist cares for children (newborns through adolescents) with skin disorders. All of our dermatologists are trained in paediatric dermatology.

Rosacea is a skin disease, mainly on the face, sometimes with redness, flushing and hard, pus-filled pimples.

Some of the causes of nail disorders include the following: Infections (such as paronychia, warts, and green nail syndrome) Injuries. Internal diseases (such as certain lung diseases, which can cause yellow nail syndrome) Nail fungus (onychomycosis) Structural problems (such as an ingrown toenail)
